  • At the time of booking, a credit card is required to guarantee your arrival.

  • Payment for your stay is due upon arrival.

  • A $25.00 cancellation fee will be processed towards your account for cancellations within 24 hours of arrival.

  • The Clock Tower Inn is a non-smoking facility.

  • Check in time is 3 pm.

  • Check out time is 11 am.
     

  • Early/Late check-ins are available, at an extra charge of $25 to cover the cost of extra housekeeping staff, although the service is not guaranteed. Our flexibility is dependent on the guests that are already staying with us, and the ones that are booked after you!
     

  • Small animals (cats and dogs) are permitted at an extra charge of $50 per stay and are at the discretion of the Inn Keeper. A further clean-up charge of $100 will be levied, should there be unreasonable amounts of clean up after your stay i.e. pet hair, pet mess, or damage to the room or items contained within the hotel.
     

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited at the Clocktower Inn and Bistro, including all rooms, washrooms, seating areas, corridors, hallways, entrances, restaurant, patio and within 9 meters of the entrances. This is in accordance with Ontario Law. Should the housekeeping staff find evidence of smoking by guests or friends/acquaintances of the guests, the card registered to the room will be charged a minimum of a $100 clean-up fee.
     

  • The phones in the rooms do not call out, they are strictly to call down to reception. Please dial #200. Free Wi-Fi is available for the enjoyment of our guests and the password is STRATHROY, all upper case.
     

  • Each suite has independent heat/air conditioning unit controlled by the white remote control. There are also wall mounted radiators and heated flooring in some of the suites. For assistance with any heating appliance, lighting, TV or alarm clock please contact the reception. One of our staff will be happy to assist you!
     

  • There is a small kitchenette located on the 3rd floor complete with coffee maker, toaster and fridge/freezer. Guests are more than welcome to keep personal food in there. The Clocktower Inn takes no responsibility for the security of personal items, including food/drink within the common areas.
     

  • Please find enclosed your $5 breakfast coupon which is valid only in our restaurant during the duration of your stay and has no monetary value.
     

  • The restaurant is open from 11 am Monday to Friday and from 10 am Saturday and Sunday. Continental Breakfast is available in our kitchenette daily. The restaurant is not open on Statutory Holidays.
     

  • Room service, take out service, coffee and alcohol are all available from our restaurant/pub.
     

  • Check-out time no later than 11am on the day following your stay, please leave your key in the room, turn off the heat/AC, lights and lock the door when you leave.
     

  • IMPORTANT: Damages to any room will be calculated fairly and charged directly to the credit card on file.
