Strathroy is home of the local Turkey Fest, held yearly in June, as a fun kick off to the summer season. Turkey Fest is an outdoor festival with midway rides, stage entertainment, food, arts and craft booths and other displays of public interest.  The 31st yearly event will be held on June 20-22, 2008. 

Pack your golf clubs because you will have difficulty fitting in all the well known golf courses in the area.  At your request, we can book a Tee Off time along with your reservation.  

Conveniently situated between Detroit and Toronto, Strathroy has many options for local day trips.  
Enjoy the beautiful SouthWestern Ontario summer with a picnic at the lake. Nearby Lake Huron boasts several sandy beaches, including Port Franks, the Pinery and Grand Bend.  Tell us what you like & we will make up a picnic baskets and send you on your way for a day in the sun and sand.  

London is just 30 minutes away and has many  restaurants for fine dining, as well as two other Copperfield’s locations.  Tell us your preferences and we can make several suggestions.  

The world renown John Labatt Centre features first class entertainment and is home to the London Knights Junior A hockey team.  2008 already has bookings for Blue Rodeo, Ann Murray, Avril Lavigne, Disney’s High School Musical Ice Tour and from “Broadway in London”... “Chicago” and “Evita”.

During the summer months, London has activities to please everyone.  Nearly every weekend, festivals such as the RibFest, SunFest, Balloonfest and the Home County Folk Festival are evident by the number of visitors to the city.  Spend the afternoon visiting with the outside vendors or take a tour on the summertime Double Decker Bus.  

If shopping is more to your liking, London has several large Malls and many shopping centres to choose from.   

Autumn is always a favourite time in South Western Ontario with the beauty of fall foliage and  brilliant leaves scattered along pathways.  Enjoy the local parks and ponds with Canadian geese and the scent of wood fires in the air, knowing that back at the Clock Tower Inn, your own private fireplace awaits.  Enjoy a leisurely cocktail while relaxing in the soaker tub and then head down to dinner in the dining room.  A perfect Fall getaway!
